On Monday, my team had semi-finals and the championships match in our league. We won 1st place (woohoo!), but man, did it take me out for a couple of days!
Thursday, we played in our other league night, and somehow won, with only 5 players! Tomorrow night, because I'm clearly insane, I'm playing in a HIYA volleyball tournament, which begins around 7 p.m., and can last until 4 a.m. See? Clearly I'm nuts.
So, all of that volleyball got me thinking about rest. (Ridiculous, right?)
I read an article last week about foam rollers. I've heard many positive things about them before, but whenever I've gone out to try to find one in the store, I have an incredibly rough time. They're either too big, too ribbed, or too expensive (sometimes all 3). I feel like Goldilocks and the Three Sore Muscles! I just want to try out a no-frills foam roller to see if it works!
